Jacque Vaughn (Nets Coach) Has No Update on Kyrie Irving's Return

The Brooklyn Nets coach Jacque Vaughn said on Sunday that he had no new information regarding the guard, so it is still unclear when Kyrie Irving will be eligible to return from his suspension.

On November 1, Irving received a minimum five-game suspension from the Nets. 3 for refusing to say he had no antisemitic beliefs, and the game against the Sunday was his sixth missed shot against the Los Angeles Lakers.

“I’m just going to continue to go day-by-day, push this group and coach these dudes today,” Vaughn said.

The Nets said Irving would not return until he satisfied “a series of objective remedial measures.”

On social media, Irving has since expressed regret for linking to a movie with antisemitic content on his Twitter page and for not making clear the specific points of contention.

Recently, Irving was met with by Nets owner Joe Tsai and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who both stated that they did not believe Irving to be antisemitic.

Prior to their final stop in Portland on Thursday, the Nets’ next game is on Tuesday in Sacramento. Since Irving was suspended, Brooklyn has triumphed four out of five times.
